The 76th Emmy Awards is right around the corner, meaning your favorite shows may take home some trophies this Sunday.

But wait a minute; you may wonder why this is happening again. The Emmys happened in January, but the Hollywood strikes delayed the 2023 ceremony telecast, which is why it aired this year. Nine months have passed and the best TV shows the year had to offer are about to get their flowers -- again.

The Emmys eligibility rules state programs must have premiered new episodes between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024. FX's Shōgun and The Bear are the top contenders this year -- the samurai drama racked up 25 noms and the Jeremy Allen White-starrer got an impressive 23 nominations, the most ever for a comedy series.

Father-son comedy duo Eugene and Dan Levy -- who swept the Emmys for Outstanding Comedy Series, Schitt's Creek in 2020 -- will take on hosting duties. Here are more details on how to watch the big show.

Ready for television's biggest night? The 76th Emmy Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. It'll also stream the following day on Hulu. If you want to watch on a live TV streaming service, we recommend YouTube TV as it comes with a free trial for new customers and carries ABC; Sling TV offers access to the network in a limited amount of markets.

Want to watch the 76th Emmys live without cable? You can turn to a streaming service like YouTube TV. The live TV streamer costs $73 a month and stands out for its number of channels and ease of use.

If you don't care about catching the Emmys live, you'll be able to watch the award show at your leisure on Hulu beginning Monday, Sept. 16.

Hulu costs $8 a month for the ad-supported version and $18 a month for the ad-free version. If you know you want to stream Hulu with ads for 12 months, you can also pay $80 for a year of the tier. (That's $16 less than if you were to pay for it month-by-month.) With a Disney bundle, you can get Hulu bundled with Disney Plus, ESPN Plus or both of the streamers. Students may qualify for a discount that grants access for $2 a month. Check out our Hulu review for more.

Like YouTube TV, Sling TV is another streaming service that can come in handy for cord-cutters. A Sling Blue subscription -- which is $40 a month -- offers a collection of local channels to your area. Live local streaming of ABC might be available to you, depending on the city you're located in. Head to this site to check.
