Al-Nassr condemn YouTuber for mocking Cristiano Ronaldo

Saudi Pro League side have condemned the actions of one supporter on a tour of the club after appearing to insult Cristiano Ronaldo when posing in front of the superstar's locker.

Ronaldo is the jewel in the crown of Saudi Arabia's mega-money backed football revolution after moving to the club at the start of last year following the termination of his contract at Manchester United.

The 39-year-old has gone on to score 62 goals in 69 appearances for the title-challenging Saudi side and recently revealed he is determined to score 1000 career goals after surpassing the 900 figure during the recent international break.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo's long-term rival Lionel Messi is playing out the twilight years of his career in the United States at David Beckham's Inter Miami, and one fan has found himself in hot water after striking the Argentine's celebration after being invited to Al-Nassr.

Middle Eastern YouTuber Abu Omar was invited to the club as part of Saudi eSports outfit Team Falcon and has angered club officials by posing in front of Ronaldo's dressing room locker.

Al-Nassr have slammed a Saudi Arabian YouTuber for copying Lionel Messi's pose in front of Cristiano Ronaldo's dressing room locker

Omar snapped a picture sat down in Ronaldo's changing room spot and proceeded to cup both hands to his ears as Messi previously did during Argentina's 2022 World Cup victory over the Netherlands.

The Barcelona legend previously irked the Netherlands bench during the last World Cup when he struck the now iconic celebration in a dig at Louis van Gaal after scoring a penalty.

Al-Nassr have now taken the decision to publicly condemn the YouTuber for attempting to mock Ronaldo and labelled the action as 'unacceptable'.

A statement from the Saudi Pro League club read: 'Al Nassr has always been welcoming to its visitors, including fans and amateurs.

'But what happened in the team's changing room yesterday is unacceptable to some people.

'We explain that as a club, we have instructed the relevant internal departments to deal with this matter immediately in order to preserve the moral and material rights of the club.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo was recently set to travel to Iraq for a cup clash with Al-Nassr but was withdrawn from the squad after falling ill.
