Alvaro Morata's wife denies claims of another woman after split

Alvaro Morata's model wife Alice Campello has denied claims of another woman in the wake of the couple's shock split and has lashed out at those 'talking bulls***'.

In an impassioned Instagram post, the Italian influencer added that the Spain captain 'doesn't deserve all the c**p he's been getting'.

The pair announced their break-up yesterday after seven years and four children together.

Confirmation of their split came just a fortnight after the pair were spotted kissing on a beach during a family holiday in Sardinia.

And over the last 24 hours speculation has been rife as to the reasons behind the sudden break-up with some suggesting that there might have been another woman in the relationship.

Now Campello has hit back at such claims in a heartfelt post on Instagram which screenshotted a couple of journalists' arguments and gave her side of the story.

Writer and influencer Anna Gurgui had suggested in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that Morata had exchanged messages with another woman, to which reporter Gabriele Parpiglia replied: 'Fake news that I can categorically deny by trusting whoever told me - Alica Campello let it out!'

Morata's wife then said: 'I will not tire of repeating and swearing on everything I have that there is no lack of respect or any third person.

'There are dynamics of ours that will remain such that they have consumed us....(depressions, important moments of strong tension of the European and the newspapers, millions of personal situations).

'If there were third parties I wouldn't put my face on it so many times and I would NEVER talk about him like that.

Campello then sought to defend her husband against the accusations he has received from many quarters.

She added: 'He doesn't deserve all the crap that is being said.

'In a couple there can be a thousand different dynamics and not everything needs to be told or not everything needs to be cheating!!!

Campello then sought to defend her husband against the accusations he has received from many quarters

'Stop talking bullshit without it.

'NOBODY feels all the love you have seen is true and still exists but right now we needed distance and unfortunately stupidly (and with great immaturity) we said it before we should have...

'But there have never never never never been third parties and there has NEVER been evidence of these speculations.'

Just weeks ago, the model was pictured by her husband's side after he captained Spain to victory in the final of Euro 2024 on July 14.

Morata, who moved to Milan after two seasons at Atletico Madrid, was recently spotted without his wedding ring as he signed shirts for Milan fans.

And on Monday, Morata confirmed their split in an Instagram post that read: 'After some time of reflection, Alice and I have made the decision to part ways. A WONDERFUL and RESPECTFUL reciprocal relationship where we have loved and helped each other a lot.

'They have been wonderful years and the result of them is our four children, who are undoubtedly the best thing we have ever done.

'It is a painful decision so we ask for respect and empathy. Do not invent stories for a minute of prominence because I repeat: there has never been any lack of respect, only many continuous misunderstandings that little by little wear things down.

Morata and Campello both published statements on Monday confirming that they had split

'Alice will always have a special place in my heart and everything we have experienced together has been incredible and a great learning'.

Campello has since removed her husband's name from all of her social media bios.

She changed her name online from 'Alice Campello Morata' back to 'Alice Campello'.

Taking to social media, Campello wrote yesterday: 'Alvaro and I have decided to separate, and it is the most difficult decision we have ever made in our lives. I want to make it clear, as he has, that there have been no third parties or any kind of disrespect from either of us.

'I can only say that in these 8 years, I have had a person by my side who has done nothing but prioritise me, take care of me, and respect me, and for that reason, I cannot allow any kind of false speculation and the decision to announce it "so soon".

'I don't want you to think that anything you have seen in the Instagram photos we've been posting is a lie. We couldn't have loved each other more, and we continue to do so, but there comes a time when many misunderstandings accumulate, are poorly managed, and things gradually deteriorate and explode.

'We have always promised each other to respect everything we have lived through, to never reach the point of hurting each other or being toxic, and to end things before that happens, and that is what we've done.

'I just want to thank Alvaro for everything he has done for me, for how he has taken care of me, for being the father and husband he has been, and to wish him the best ALWAYS.'

Campello slammed an article which claimed Spain captain Morata was an 'embarrassment'

Campello slammed a recent article as an attempt to 'generate more hatred towards a person'

A further post saw Campello stress families read the coverage and demanded more respect

Previously, Morata had dedicated each and every one of his goals to his partner in recent years, with his trademark 'A' celebration becoming well known by fans.

Morata and Campello married in June 2017, shortly before he moved to Chelsea from Real Madrid.

They share three sons, including twins, and one daughter.

The split is the latest incident in a turbulent few months for Morata.

Jeered by his own fans during a friendly against Brazil in March five months ago, he started Euro 2024 by declaring he would probably leave LaLiga to ply his trade in a country where he felt appreciated.

In July, Campello slammed coverage of Morata's comments by Spanish outlet El Confidencial, with the newspaper publishing an article with the headline 'Morata, a captain who embarrasses Spain and not only because of his poor form at the Euros.'

The article called Morata a 'crybaby', accusing him of 'immature and reprehensible behaviour' due to his comments falling ahead of the Euro 2024 showdown with France.

The article claimed Morata believed he was the subject of 'personal persecution', but highlighted that other stars such as Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham had also been criticised during the tournament.

It read: 'Who is Morata to speak ill of Spain? Not just once. He has done so on several occasions before and during the Euro Cup.

'This captain does not represent Spain. He embarrasses it with his statements, which, by repeating them so often, make it credible that in Spain he is being mistreated or there is a personal persecution.'

Campello suggested on Instagram that the the article would 'generate more hatred'.

'I hate to play the victim and stir up more controversy, but this doesn't seem normal to me, I'm sorry. Is this normal?' Campello wrote.

'The only thing I see as poor quality is being a journalist, having studied for it and writing a headline like this when Spain is one day away from playing a semi-final.

'It amazes me that instead of encouraging a player you dedicate yourselves to trying to sink him... How do you think a person can give the maximum for his country when he feels that no one believes in him? What do you want to achieve with the headline? Generate more hatred towards a person?

'Congratulations, everyone can write their opinion and everyone is free to express it and no one ever pleases everyone, but there are ways and ways of saying things, even more so when you are from a newspaper and you have so much power to condition young people. Do we really want this?'

She defended her then-husband in a second post, highlighting that players' families also read the comments published by media outlets and insisted that they deserve respect.

'These players have fathers, mothers, wives and children who read these gratuitous barbarities. This one from the newspaper is a simple example,' Campello added.

'We must think before speaking about how we would feel about what we are doing . I repeat: everyone is free to say what they think, but without offending.

'It's all a matter of taste, but we must respect if we want respect.'

Morata's explosive interview with El Mundo last month caused uproar in his homeland when he hit back at 'nonsense' criticism.

'It could be [my last tournament with Spain],' Morata told the outlet. 'It's a possibility that I don't want to talk about too much, but it's probable.'

He had been whistled during Spain's Euros campaign and notably jeered throughout a friendly against Brazil at the Bernabeu in March.

'In Spain it's hard for me to be happy,' Morata said. 'Without doubt [I'm happier outside of Spain]. I've said it many times. Above all, because people respect me.

'In Spain there's no respect for anything or anyone.'
