Aryaka expands Unified SASE offering with new cloud service broker and Menlo Security integration

Secure access service edge provider Aryaka Networks Inc. today announced new updates to its solutions, including a new cloud access security broker service, validated interoperability with Menlo Security Inc., and a new Aryaka Interactive Product Experience virtual proof-of-concept capability.

The new updates are designed to bring added value to organizations seeking to consolidate their security and networking deployments. The new capabilities allow customers to protect their globally distributed applications without compromising performance or agility.

Leading the list and offered as part of the company’s Unified SASE offering, Aryaka’s new CASB solution offers protection for software-as-a-service applications through a unified, single-pass processing model. The solution, which is integrated into Aryaka’s OnePASS Architecture and Zero Trust WAN, allows organizations to enforce security policies across edge devices, branch users and remote users through points of presence.

Key benefits of Aryaka’s CASB include visibility into user activity, data access and risks to empower informed security decisions, complemented by granular access control that allows for fine-tuned policies based on user identity, device and location. The solution also provides threat protection with machine learning and advanced threat intelligence to detect and prevent sophisticated attacks like malware and ransomware.

Aryaka has also partnered with Menlo Security to enhance its Unified SASE offering through the integration of remote browser isolation or RBI capabilities. The addition protects remote and hybrid employees from internet-borne phishing and malware while maintaining browsing efficiency.

Aryaka routes customer traffic through the Menlo Secure Cloud Browser, ensuring safe browsing without network exposure. By incorporating Menlo Security’s RBI, Aryaka customers can defend against web-based threats while supporting secure remote work, cloud adoption and digital transformation.

The final announcement sees Aryaka introduce its Interactive Product Experience. A virtual proof-of-concept, IPX allows enterprises to easily explore the value and capabilities of Aryaka’s solution and does so without disrupting current network operations, allowing users to test specific use cases and experience the agility and performance of Aryaka’s Unified SASE.

“Getting off the ground with a traditional proof-of-concept can be a long process that involves a lot of testing, experimentation and learning,” said Justin Lim, Aryaka’s vice president of customer success. “Aryaka IPX expedites that process, allowing prospects to validate the technology at their own pace in a no-pressure, self-guided environment.”

Aryaka is a venture capital-backed startup, having raised $192 million over nine rounds, including a round of $50 million in May 2019. Investors include Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Trinity Ventures L.P., Mohr Davidow Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners III L.P., Third Point Ventures, InterWest Partners X L.P., Presidio Ventures Inc. and DTCP Management Co.
