Chicago Bears Select Punter Tory Taylor in Round 4, Acquire Defensive End Austin Booker in Round 5 Trade
The Chicago Bears selected punter Tory Taylor from Iowa in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. The team then traded a 2025 fourth-round pick to the Buffalo Bills for a 2024 fifth-round pick and used it to select defensive end Austin Booker from Kansas.
Taylor, a native of Australia, holds the NCAA record for punting average at 40 yards per punt. Booker had 58 tackles and eight sacks in his one season with Kansas after transferring from Missouri.
