Google makes some of the best Android phones of 2024, with both the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro being good enough to land spots on our expert editors' list when they were released. While those seeking the latest tech will want to head for the newer Pixel 9 series, the previous-generation Pixel 8 phones still offer a lot of power and some excellent features. They're a touch cheaper since they're no longer the newest models, and it's a little easier to find additional deals on them that bring prices down even more.

When the Pixel 8 phones were released last fall, our reviewers liked their excellent screens, good overall cameras, long software support period and powerful Tensor G3 processor. In addition, the smaller Pixel 8 got praise for its impressive 120Hz refresh rate, and the Pixel 8 Pro stood out for its neat temperature sensor.
