Due to its proximity, many of the best TV sales will start during Prime Day and run through the end of November. That being said, if you can wait until Black Friday, you will probably see more deals total on TVs as retailers make room for new TV sets that tend to come out in January. However, the gulf in discounts isn't much to write home about, and many of Black Friday's best TV deals tend to be extremely limited in terms of both time and supply.
