There are no straightforward discounts on the retail price right now, but there are other reasons to purchase directly from Samsung. There are exclusive colors available, and the trade-in offer for all configurations is up to $540 in trade-in credit. The latest Apple and Samsung phones will net you the most credit. Samsung also accepts select tablets and smartwatches for trade-in for a smaller discount.
Samsung offers a 30% discount to students, educators, first responders and US government employees.
Best Buy also has an excellent trade-in program that can save you up to $525, with the latest iPhones netting you the biggest discounts. Color options for this model are icy blue or phantom black. You also get one free month of Xbox Game Pass as a bonus with purchase.
AT&T is offering up to $1,000 off the Z Fold 5 with an eligible trade-in, and you can get $440 back with the AT&T Points Plus card. You'll need to purchase the phone on a qualifying installment plan. You'll get the full discount for any phone valued at just $95 or more, and even old and damaged devices valued at just $35 will still net you $800 in trade-in credit. The discount is applied as bill credits over 36 months and drops the price for the Z Fold 5 to just $22.23 a month.
AT&T is also offering additional perks for qualifying buyers. You might be able to score an AT&T Points Plus Card from Citi valued at $440 or a free pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds FE if you meet certain requirements.
