Carlo Ancelotti has cooled suggestions of confrontation between Antonio Rudiger and Endrick in Real Madrid's camp after footage showed the pair fiercely competing in a pre-season training.
18-year-old Endrick has been given a hard-hitting welcome at his new team as he was treated to physical battles with Rudiger during Madrid's tour of the United States.
Any notion that Endrick would be eased into training with his new team-mates was quickly rubbished as he went up against the German centre-back in a team drill that saw attackers try to score.
The Brazilian star who finally joined Madrid earlier in July, 584 days after an initial £51m deal was agreed with Palmeiras, is expected to vying for a starting role at the Santiago Bernabeu but faces stiff competition.
To get ahead of Vinicius Jnr, Rodrigo, and Kylian Mbappe, he will have to rise above the physicality demonstrated by Rudiger that saw the former Chelsea defender push and manhandle Endrick in training.

Reports in Spain suggested there had been a falling out between the pair following the practice session earlier in the week, however, Ancelotti has dispelled such claims and insisted Rudiger will do the same with Mbappe when he reports for training.
'Reports of issue of Rüdiger and Endrick? Nothing happened, Rüdiger just welcomed Endrick (smiles),' said Ancelotti at a press conference in the United States.
'He will do the same when Mbappé comes, Antonio is a great guy,' added the legendary Madrid boss.
Endrick will have to get used to the demands of representing the reigning Champions League holders and by his own admission is keen to learn from more senior figures.
Duelling with the likes of Rudiger will help him adjust to the increased physicality of European football and the youngster expressed that he will need time to take on advice from his colleagues.
'I will listen to all advice from my team-mates. Modric, Vini, Mbappe. I'm here to learn,' he said.
Meanwhile, Mbappe will get his first taste of action in Madrid's colours when he concludes his extended summer break following France's participation at Euro 2024.
