Celonis’ real-time insights support strategic transformation - SiliconANGLE

As businesses face increasing pressure to modernize their systems, making the right decisions during digital transformation with real-time insights has become crucial.

Companies are looking for ways to navigate complex transformations with minimal disruption, from process optimization to large-scale system upgrades, according to Kerry Brown (pictured), digital transformation evangelist at Celonis SE. The company’s technology helps businesses approach these transformations more strategically, using data-driven insights to streamline the process and ensure success.

“I use the analogy of moving houses a lot when I talk about transformation,” Brown said. “If I think about Celonis historically, it’s [about] how do you renovate, streamline and improve the living experience in the house you live in? If I look at system transformation, which is where I spend a lot of time, I’m moving houses.”

Kerry Brown, digital transformation evangelist at Celonis SE, talks with theCUBE about real-time insights.

Celonis’ Kerry Brown talks with theCUBE about leveraging real-time data to reduce costs, keep projects on budget and ensure meaningful change.

Brown spoke with theCUBE Research’s Rob Strechay and Savannah Peterson at Celosphere 24, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how Celonis’ technology helps organizations align business decisions with long-term goals, leveraging real-time data to reduce costs, keep projects on budget and ensure meaningful change. Streamlining transformation with real-time insights

Many organizations struggle with system transformation, viewing it as a daunting task filled with unnecessary complexity. Celonis’ technology allows businesses to make better decisions during system transformation by providing real-time data visibility and clarity, removing emotions from the equation. This data-driven approach ensures that every decision is grounded in facts, helping organizations confidently optimize their processes.

“Facts are friendly [and] can make stressful, anxious and difficult decisions so much easier to understand,” Brown said. “If I understand it, I can trust it. If I trust it, I can act upon it. You say, ‘You think what you want is important [and] so do I. Which one of them is going to affect our customers, our revenue?’ And [then you] make those choices, which takes the emotion out of that debate and gives you the opportunity to align and track through governance … back on scope, on time and on value.”

The company’s system transformation readiness app empowers organizations to look across their entire landscape, providing data visibility and quantification of choices. This tool enables businesses to plan their transformation more effectively, ensuring that clear, real-time insights back each decision.

“You do need to scan and figure out what to take,” Brown said. “There is a way to consume that piece of access … to Celonis that isn’t process-based, but rather looking at the system transformation as a whole.”
