Cristiano Ronaldo reveals why he will NOT go into management

Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he won't be moving into a management position once he eventually decides to retire from football because he finds it 'difficult' to work with the younger generation.

The Man United and Real Madrid legend has given fans a fascinating insight into his life and career on his new YouTube channel that has quickly made him one of the world's most-followed streamers on the network.

Ronaldo is currently playing in the twilight years of his career with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League and scored his 900th career goal during the recent international break with Portugal.

The 39-year-old now has ambitions to score 1000 goals, but has also addressed his future in football once he decides to hang up his boots.

Ronaldo will be in-demand by television broadcasters wanting to display him as a pundit and also has his own business projects to work on, but fans hope the legendary footballer could be tempted into football management.

Ronaldo outlined his retirement plans with former Manchester United team-mate Rio Ferdinand

Speaking in a tell-all interview with former United team-mate Rio Ferdinand, Ronaldo outlined his retirement plans and dashed the suggestion that he could be stalking dugouts in the future.

'For me will be difficult one day to be a coach, because I don't have passions for this generation, it's difficult especially in football, because they don't take advice by our experience,' Ronaldo said on Rio Presents.

'They think they know everything, they think the phones will give you good education, the TikTok, the Instagram.

'I have other things to worry about, another chapter of my life that is a business part that I'm excited about.

Ronaldo recently scored twice in the international break as Portugal beat Croatia and Scotland

'It will be a challenge to me and learn other areas I don't know, be more involved in my business and I think will be good,' he added.

However, Ronaldo won't be calling time on his trophy-laden career anytime soon and has ambitions to deliver success both in Saudi Arabia and with the Portugal national team.

He scored once in Portugal's 3-1 Nations League victory over Croatia last week before adding another strike against Scotland on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has caused a stir at Man United after he again criticised manager Erik ten Hag, with the Old Trafford boss hitting back at the club legend ahead of Saturday's game against Southampton.
