Hey, everybody. This is Russell with CNN. I just got back from another three hour session at D 20 three's evening showcase. Tonight's was all about experiences, right? So we're talking rides, we're talking new lands inside of parks and the first place that we're gonna stop on this recap is Walt Disney himself is going to take animatronic form inside of Disneyland in California alongside Abraham Lincoln, which is one of the first things that Walt himself built and you're gonna be able to walk up and listen as Walt Disney himself described parts of his life and ways in which he envisioned this park coming together, which sounds very wild. Very curious to see how that goes. The biggest cheer from the night by far there is a villain's land coming to the magic kingdom in Florida. Not a ton of details so far. Just that it is going to be all of your favorite villains in one place in a dedicated area in the park, basically blew the roof off of the stadium at that announcement. It is something that people wanted for a really long time and it sounds like we're getting it here in the next couple of years also happening in the Magic Kingdom. A part of frontier land is going to turn into a car's ride. This is not the same thing if you have been to the California Parks where there's like a whole car's land, that's not this, this is just going to be a ride that is not taking place inside of Radiator Springs. Instead it's going to be its own thing and it's gonna be themed as close to the frontier land experience that you already know as possible. The other Florida parks are getting a bunch of other things starting with Animal Kingdom, which is getting a cocoa ride and it's getting an Incanto ride, including Casita itself is going to, you know, come to life and bring you through the park inside of magic chairs that it is put together. And then Ki Hwan himself came out and announced an Indiana Jones ride that is gonna be happening inside of Animal Kingdom, all in this kind of dedicated area, which is really cool. Disney's Hollywood Studios is going to get its own land dedicated to Monsters Inc, where you're gonna be able to go and power by laughter as this park comes to life and gives you all of the experiences that you remember from the movies and the show and you know, just all of the things that you love about Monsters Inc, which is something that is kind of near and dear to my heart. If you fly over to California adventure, the Avengers campus is getting two great big rides. One of which is Tony Stark's lab and the other is a defense initiative from the Avengers. So you're going from being a trainee in the Avengers campus to actually joining the fight and helping the Avengers take on King Thanos and several other villains that we haven't heard about so far. And the Stark Lab ride is actually going to be voiced by Robert Downey Junior. He's coming back for this ride and kind of the unique tech that goes into it. California adventure is also getting an avatar land which is not going to be the same as the avatar land in Florida. It is instead going to be loosely wrapped around the way of water and the newly announced fire and Ash. The one thing you got, if you are a Star Wars fan is that the Mandalorian and Gro are going to be added on to the smuggler's run ride inside of both parks in the US. That means that when you go, go on to the Millennium Falcon and you go on the adventure that you would normally go on, sometimes you're gonna get that normal ride and sometimes you're gonna get to hang out with the Mandalorian as he and his crew fly alongside you to complete a totally different adventure. There was a ton announced at this event and it's all stuff that is actually being worked on right. This second, they repeated multiple times that this is not a blue sky thing. This is not an imagination thing. This is stuff that they are ready to build within the next couple of years. So stick around because there's gonna be a ton more of it. Keep watching.
