Donkey from Shrek impressed by the size of Jack Grealish's calves

Donkey from Shrek was left impressed by the size of Jack Grealish's calf muscles, as several Manchester City stars took a trip to Universal Studios' Orlando resort during their pre-season tour of the USA.

The Premier League champions have endured a slow start to their pre-season campaign, losing both of their opening matches to Celtic 4-3 and AC Milan 3-2.

Pep Guardiola is now set to face off against his old club Barcelona at the Camping World Stadium on Tuesday, but it appears his players have been enjoying some downtime with a trip to one of Florida's most iconic theme parks.

Man City took to X (formerly Twitter) to publish a video of Grealish meeting with an animatronic Donkey and actors dressed as Princess Fiona and Shrek.

In the clip, Grealish and several of his team-mates, including Erling Haaland, approach the trio of characters, who were standing by what appeared to be a replica of Shrek's swamp hut - with Donkey peering through a window.

Donkey poked fun at Grealish, stating that he was impressed by his large calf muscles before asking him if they were implants, with Erling Haaland (right) laughing at their exchange

'The princess, she hasn't taken her eyes off you. I'll be honest, you are dreamy,' Donkey said to one of Grealish's team-mates.

Grealish then added: 'What about me?'

Donkey proceeded to joke with the City winger, saying: 'You ok. You remind me of somebody else. I'll be honest with you, I'll try not to say the F-word, but you remind me of a little Farquaad about you.'

Lord Farquaad is the main antagonist of the Shrek franchise and features in the Shrek 4-D ride at Universal Studios.

'What?' Grealish replied, appearing to smile at the joke, before adding: 'Nah, you're miles [away].'

Despite being called up to Gareth Southgate's preliminary Euro 2024 squad earlier this summer, Grealish was ultimately cut from the travelling party that made it to the final of the tournament in Germany.

Donkey also stated that Grealish (pictured) looked like Lord Farquaad, a character from the film

The winger has revealed that he was left 'absolutely heartbroken' by the omission, but appears to have been working hard to get his mojo back - having been pictured undergoing several training camps this summer in Portugal.

He appears, though, to have been enjoying his time in the States, having also met Rihanna this weekend - one of his idols.

While Grealish is known to have rather large calves, it appears Donkey was even impressed by the work he had been doing in the gym, even going as far as asking whether the Man City star had implants.

'What are you maxing out on your deadlift?' the animatronic character asked Grealish during their meeting at Universal.

'Nah I don't do it,' Grealish replied, before stating: 'Au naturale these.'

The exchange left his team-mate Haaland in stitches, with Donkey proceeding to ask: 'You don't? No implants, no nothing?'

'No, nothing,' Grealish replied.

The 28-year-old has also revealed in recent weeks that he is set to become a father, with he and his girlfriend Sasha Attwood announcing they are expecting their first child.
