Arkansas basketball head coach Eric Musselman is reportedly set to interview for the vacant position at USC. This development follows the departure of former coach Andy Enfield, who recently accepted the head coaching role at SMU.

Musselman has established himself as a successful coach at Arkansas, leading the Razorbacks to three NCAA Tournament appearances, including back-to-back Elite Eight finishes in 2021 and 2022. Despite missing out on the tournament this year, Musselman's overall record with Arkansas stands at 111-59.

Prior to joining Arkansas, Musselman coached at Nevada for four years, where he compiled a 110-34 record and made three NCAA Tournament appearances. Overall, Musselman's head coaching record is an impressive 221-93.

USC possesses a talented roster, including highly-rated recruit Isaiah Collier and Bronny James, the son of NBA legend LeBron James. However, it remains uncertain if these players will declare for the NBA Draft or stay with the Trojans amidst the coaching transition.

Musselman is known for his willingness to utilize the transfer portal, which could be a valuable tool for USC as they look to strengthen their roster.

With his proven track record of success and his ability to develop talented players, Musselman would be a strong candidate for the USC head coaching position. He would bring a wealth of experience and a winning mentality to a program that is looking to make a deep run in the postseason.
