Following community backlash over the release of The Unheard Edition, Battlestate Games has outlined changes aimed at appeasing players.
Nikita Buyanov, head of Battlestate Games, provided the following details:
Edge of Darkness Edition Owners:
- Co-op PvE mode access with persistent progression
- Faster insurance return
- Increased personal trader purchase limits
- Increased PMC karma
- Special stimulant craft
- Increased Charisma skill level
- "Nostalgia" quest line
- Unique PMC dogtag, armband, and item with call-in mechanics
- Unique PMC clothing
- Free daily task replacements
- Customizable nickname icon and color
Standard, Prepare for Escape, and Left Behind Edition Owners:
- Increased stash size
- Optional PvE mode access purchase
The Unheard Edition Owners:
- Unique radio item (PvE only)
- Unique distress signal device (PvP and PvE)
- $50 coupon for Tarkov purchases
- Access to Escape from Tarkov: Arena
- Unique PMC clothing, dog tag, and nickname customization
All Editions Except The Unheard Edition:
- "Mark of The Unheard" and "Distress Signal Device" obtainable through quests
- Expanded PMC pockets obtainable through quests
All Editions Except Edge of Darkness:
- "Legacy" device obtainable through quest
- One free daily task replacement
