Fans joke they've spotted Erik ten Hag's TWIN at Villa Park

Fans were convinced Erik ten Hag was on double duty during Manchester United's clash with Aston Villa.

The Dutchman entered Sunday's clash at Villa Park under extreme pressure following United's dismal start to the season.

However, the importance of the occasion didn't prevent fans from poking fun on social media after a doppelganger for the United boss was spotted.

With the game goalless early in the first half TV cameras cut to Diogo Dalot taking a throw-in on the touchline, while a ball boy bearing a striking resemblance to Ten Hag watched on behind him.

One wrote: 'Why is Ten Haag’s twin a Villa ball boy?'

Another added: 'Did I just see a Ten Hag regen as a ball boy?'

A third agreed: 'Swear to God I just saw Erik ten Hag as the Villa ball boy.'
