Former Man City player leaks image of his professional contract'

A former Manchester City player has leaked an image showing details of his professional contract.

The player joked that the wages were 'Proof I’ve been getting this Saudi money since early'.

A product of City's youth academy, the individual was highly rated as a youngster.

He made three senior appearances for City in total, the last of which came in 2009.

The player's contract was dated March 29th 2007.

Shaleum Logan shared the details of his contract on social media.

The document shows that between July 1st 2007 and June 30th 2008 Logan would receive £450 a week.

He would also get an extra £500 per game when selected in the first-team squad of 16 and a further £500 per game if he was to feature.

If he started a game, Logan would be entitled to an appearance payment of £1,000 per game.

The letter was signed by City's general secretary Bernard Halford.

Prior to signing that contract, Logan had featured for City in League Cup games against Bristol City and Norwich.

He went on to make his only Premier League appearance for the club as he started away to Portsmouth in 2009, which would have seen him receive a significant bonus.

During his time at City, Logan had loan spells at Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Stockport and Tranmere before being released in 2011.

The defender subsequently had spells at Brentford and Aberdeen and also had a loan spell at Hearts before ending his career at Cove Rangers.

Logan now works as a rope access bolting technician.
