Why pay for a handful of streaming platforms when there are loads of great free TV serviceslike Tubi, Pluto TV, Freevee and Fawesome that have tons of newly released and original movies releasing every month? You may not even know it, but these services have impressive content libraries filled with Oscar winners, cult horror and comedy classics that can fill your schedule with an endless supply of hits.
Tubi has several new original movies this month, including the thrillers Killer Nurses (premieres Oct. 17) and Vicious Murder (out on Oct. 11) and the documentary special Famously Haunted: Hollywood, which offers a look at some of the most haunted places in Los Angeles, out on Oct. 9. In addition to an extensive list of horror, comedy and kids movies, these arrive to the free platform this month.
The Roku original movie A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery, which provides an intimate look at the WNBA legend -- and was produced by LeBron James, who also appears in the film -- along with dozens of other films, arrives on the platform this month, too.
On Pluto TV, you can check out iconic horror movies like Bram Stoker's Dracula alongside cult faves like Jennifer's Body and Vampire in Brooklyn. For award-winning flicks, head to Fawesome for Gladiator and The Imitation Game or Plex for classics like 1973's The Wicker Man, L.A. Confidential and many more.

Killer Nurses (Oct. 17)
In the Tubi original movie Killer Nurses, a nurse dies under mysterious circumstances and two traveling nurses investigate her death, leading them to a web of secrets and clues that point to an egomaniacal doctor whose oath to do no harm seems a little flawed.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer
You can not only watch the complete Buffy The Vampire Slayer series on Tubi this month, but the 1992 film that started it all. In case you've forgotten, the cast reads like a who's who of beloved (and, sadly, recently departed) Hollywood talent: Donald Sutherland, Paul Reubens and Luke Perry joined Kristy Swanson for our first introduction to this generation's chosen one, Buffy Anne Summers.

A Radical Act: Renee Montgomery (Oct. 16)
Two-time WNBA champion Renee Montgomery is the subject of this new documentary which profiles the star athlete turned broadcaster turned co-owner of the Atlanta Dream. Montgomery is interviewed, along with NBA legends LeBron James, Ray Allen and Julius Erving, to discuss her legacy and her future in basketball. The original film premieres on the Roku Channel on Oct. 16.
