Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS have been tipped to do an 'unbelievable job' at transforming Manchester United in their bid to challenge for the biggest trophies.
Cardiff City midfielder Aaron Ramsey, formerly of Nice, part of INEOS' multi-club network, made the prediction after spending time with figures at the top of the company - but he also warned they will need time to bring about success.
Ratcliffe, a boyhood United supporter, completed a deal to buy a 27 per cent stake at Old Trafford in February and his hefty investment totalled around £1.25billion.
However, he has since stirred controversy after a string of unpopular decisions. As part of a major cost-cutting exercise, around 250 jobs have been slashed while legendary former manager Sir Alex Ferguson saw his £2million-a-year ripped up.
But Ramsey is confident that INEOS' ruthless methods will eventually pay off.

Speaking on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, he said: 'They wanted to invest a lot into Nice and make that a hub in European football.
'Sir Jim, being a Man United fan and him then having the chance to own them, I think they'll do an unbelievable job there. It's just going to take a little bit of time.
'They're very driven people and they're only used to being the best at what they do.
'It's never easy in the Premier League to go and just challenge and compete again, but with their ambition and their ideas, I think they'll have a successful spell there.'
INEOS took control of United's football operations from the Glazers after the deal was completed and they have set about forming plans for the future.
As reported by Mail Sport, Ratcliffe holds ambitions to build a new 100,000-seater stadium, replacing Old Trafford.
So far, INEOS have held off pulling the trigger on the under-pressure Erik ten Hag despite the Dutchman's mixed start to his third full campaign in charge.
Ramsey joined Ligue 1 side Nice on a free transfer after leaving Juventus and explained to L'Equipe that INEOS' vision had convinced him to make the move.

'I was seduced by the INEOS project,' he said. 'To me everything was brilliant, from the vision of the club to the way they wanted to develop.
'I still wanted to play at a top level, to prove to myself that I could do it and this was the perfect place to show it. It was a great opportunity, and the project is exciting.
'Obviously, you want to be in the best shape for the national team, but Nice is perfect for me. With the vision of INEOS, their experience in all sports, it's only a matter of time for Nice to fight to play in the Champions League. It's very exciting.'
