Apple's 10th-gen iPad is the best entry-level tablet the company has ever sold, but that doesn't mean it's cheap. The most recent model looks every inch the modern tablet, borrowing its design from the higher-end iPad Air and iPad Pro models. That design includes a gorgeous edge-to-edge display, a thin chassis and a USB-C port for charging and data. It's a tablet that normally sells for around $349, but there are ways to get your hands on one for less if you know where to look.

Inside, it's powered by the Apple A14 Bionic chip and has a larger, 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display. The move to a flat-sided design doesn't mean compatibility with the Apple Pencil 2. Apple brought some colorful hues to the entry-level iPad for the first time with this generation. The four available colors are:
- Pink
- Blue
- Yellow
- Silver

There are a few configuration options for the 10th-gen iPad. Here's how US pricing breaks down in full:
- 64GB iPad (10th gen): $349
- 256GB iPad (10th gen): $499
- 64GB iPad (10th gen, Wi-Fi + Cellular): $499
- 256GB iPad (10th gen, Wi-Fi + Cellular): $649
Apple's recent price drop on the entry-level iPad means that the discounts aren't as impressive as they once were, but Amazon will sell you the 64GB mode for just $299 depending on the color you choose.
Best Buy is offering a straight $50 discount and bundling in three months of Apple Music and Apple TV Plus, while three months of Fitness Plus is also included. (Apple itself offers three months of Apple TV Plus, Apple Fitness Plus and Apple Arcade with a new iPad.)

Target is currently listing the iPad (10th gen) at $350 following Apple's recent price reduction, but no cheaper. Target RedCard holders can take 5% off the purchase as a bonus, but you're better off buying elsewhere right now.
Go straight to the source for your 10th-gen iPad, where you can choose the exact configuration you want and even get it engraved for free. Apple won't be discounting the device, but you can pay in installments if that suits your budget better, and get 3% cash back if you pay using your Apple Card, which amounts to $10.47.
Those trading in an old device can also get up to $580 towards their new iPad, too.
In need of a cellular iPad? Verizon is a good place to pick one up for less, with a $180 trade-in offer for your old model if you hand it over within 30 days of purchase. Alternatively, buying a new 5G iPhone through Verizon will get you an iPad for $280 off, too.
Buyers can, as is always the case, use B&H's own Payboo credit card to save on the tax. There's currently an additional $40 discount for all buyers as well, depending on color.
