The Delta emulator will soon turn your iPad into a giant Nintendo DS.
The Delta emulator became popular when it was released on the Apple App Store earlier this month. It quickly became the top free app on the store. Developer Riley Testut says that an iPad-specific version is almost finished and will be released with Delta version 1.6.
The iOS version already works on the iPad, but a native version will allow it to take advantage of the full iPad screen real estate for better skins, including one that turns your tablet into a Nintendo DS Lite. It will also support iPad Split View.
After releasing the iPadOS native version of Delta, Testut says he will work on bringing "device-to-device multiplayer" to the app. Sega Genesis emulation is also coming soon, as it's currently in beta.
