Kobbie Mainoo MOCKS injured Man United teammate Leny Yoro

Two weeks after signing with his new team in July, the Frenchman fractured his left foot during a friendly game against Arsenal and had to be immediately taken off the field.

Fans spotted the player on crutches with his foot in a protective boot, followed by official confirmation that he would undergo surgery and be out for three months.

According to the Athletic, the Red Devils knew about the 18-year-old's potential issues, but their executives were determined to proceed with Yoro due to his status as one of the hottest prospects in European football.

Now footage has emerged of the centre-back trying to get into a limousine while enjoying an evening with Mainoo.

Yoro first tries to throw the crutches into the vehicle as he prepares to join the England international in the back, which is lit up in an ambient turquoise with mock stars shining on the ceiling.

With cameras flashing everywhere, the pressure is on the young defender to make a smooth entry into the limo.

Mainoo and his friend eventually help clear the crutches out of the way so Yoro to climb in but the United man is taking his time.

The funny comment is prompted by much laughter and the door eventually shuts and the limousine drives off.

Amid competition with Real Madrid over the player's signature, United paid £52m for the Lille academy product, as they reportedly believed he would be one of their greatest players over the next decade.

However, Mail Sport previously reported that the Frenchman preferred to join the Galacticos, before he was threatened by his boyhood club that he would be sidelined for a year if he didn't agree to United's terms.

The Red Devils, particularly Erik ten Hag, were keen to sign at least two centre backs, holding discussions simultaneously with Matthijs de Ligt and Yoro.

However, the Red Devils' representatives proceeded with the signing regardless of the player's issues, considering him as a top player for the future

Erik ten Hag was left frustrated with United's complicated pre-season, stating that his side is 'not ready' for the new campaign

Shortly after securing the Frenchman's signage, United rushed him into games, featuring the player in the starting lineup against Rangers.

However, as the reports state, the Red Devils were cautious with Yoro as they were aware of his injury risk, with the 18-year-old training in only 50 per cent of the sessions.

His next match against Arsenal turned into a source of frustration for the United boss with the centre-back picking up his injury after Erik ten Hag had claimed that his side were 'not ready' for the new Premier League campaign.
