The father of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has provided an update on his condition via social media after being stabbed in a car park on Wednesday evening.

Mounir Nasraoui, 35, was rushed to hospital after being attacked in the Spanish town of Mataro.

However, Yamal's father has now taken to social media app Instagram to share an update on his condition. 'Thank you all for your encouragement, I'm better now,' He posted. 'A big hug to everyone.'
