LISTEN: Does playing on Thursday REALLY disadvantage Arsenal?

The tough games don't stop coming for Arsenal, who have been celebrating their north London derby win over Tottenham.

The Gunners, however, must prepare for Champions League action this week, and they will kick off their campaign in Europe's elite competition on Thursday against Atalanta.

After that, they will take on Manchester City in a battle that could have a big impact on the Premier League title race, with the two sides already the top two in the table.

The game will take place on Sunday afternoon, giving City an extra day's rest, and It's All Kicking Off! co-hosts Ian Ladyman and Chris Sutton have been discussing how much of a disadvantage that will give Mikel Arteta's side on the latest episode of the podcast.

City will also play at home, hosting Atalanta on Wednesday, but Sutton was quick to eliminate the game dates as a potential excuse ahead of the fixture this weekend.

Ladyman and Sutton also previewed the game, with plenty at stake even just five matches in to the new campaign.
