Liverpool fans fear Alexander-Arnold has ALREADY fallen out with Slot

Liverpool fans are concerned that Trent Alexander-Arnold has fallen out with new manager Arne Slot.

Alexander-Arnold cut a frustrated figure as he was substituted in the 72nd minute of Liverpool's 2-0 win at home to Brentford, with the right-back having also been substituted against Ipswich Town last weekend.

Given that he has entered into the final year of his contract, there is much uncertainty regarding Alexander-Arnold's long-term future at Liverpool.

There have been suggestions that the 25-year-old could make the switch to Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.

Despite the victory, Alexander-Arnold was also seen looking dejected after the game.

After the game, however, Alexander-Arnold suggested that all is well as he posted a picture on his Instagram story of himself smiling.

However, some fans felt that Alexander-Arnold's reaction to his substitution was concerning.

One fan claimed that Alexander-Arnold needs to 'grow up'. They wrote: 'Trent needs to grow up great team performance and has a boss game why put a dampener on it sulking like that slot obviously saving his legs after a solid performance.'

Another added: 'Doesn't look like Trent is Slots biggest fan yet.'

Meanwhile, another fan stated that Alexander-Arnold's reaction was 'childish'. They wrote: 'Completely and utterly childish reaction from Trent here, hanging around Bellingham too much, Slot took him off as an injury precaution in a game that was dead and buried.

'Why is he throwing his toys out of the pram about it? Embarrassing really.'

Another fan wrote that Slot was 'pushing Trent to Real Madrid'.

In addition, another fan stated: 'Love you Trent, but there is no reason for acting like this man'.

Another fan commented on the situation as they wrote: 'Jokes aside, are you worried about Trent's attitude here or is it expected competitiveness to want to play the full game?

'Madrid rumours were slightly worrying at this point with no contract signed, but he was top class today.'

Furthermore, a fan wrote: 'Trent isn't happy and I'm 100 per cent certain he's thinking about that Real Madrid move. Slot isn't the loving caring father figure that Klopp once was and our players need to adjust to hat. Hoping for the best.'
