Anfield is ready to welcome Arne and maybe a bit of history
Although Arne Slot has taken charge of the Reds both in Anfield and the Premier League before he has not done it simultaneously.
This will be the first time he will lead his side out to Anfield in a Premier League fixture.
The Dutch manager can also create further history in Merseyside today as he can become the first permanent manager to win his opening two Legaue games in charge since Graeme Souness in April 1991.
Its safe to say Liverpool fans are rearing for this one.
And no doubt will a loud rendtition of You'll Never Walk Alone belt out just before the whistle is blown to welcome Slot.
Liverpool hosts The Bees at Anfield
Wow!
And just like that we have already arrived at the the penultimate match for Gameweek two in the Premier League.
What a curtain closer we have in store as Arne Slot takes charge of the Reds in his first league game at Anfield.
Liverpool and Brentford have produced some high scoring games in recent years and I wouldn't put past them to produce yet another one again today.
The Reds have won each of their last five home games against the Bees without conceding a single goal.
Their last meeting in Anfield saw them put three past their opponents today with talisman Mo Salah registering a brace, whilst Diogo Jota finished off the scoring for the Reds.
Both teams will be well aware that this time around could very well be a different story and Thomas Frank's side will be heading into the game looking to cause an upset.
But only time will tell!
