MAN UNITED RATINGS: Casemiro should have left this summer

Manchester United were dismantled by Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

A brace from Luis Diaz and a goal from Mohamed Salah saw Arne Slot's men run out comfortable 3-0 winners in the Premier League clash.

United have won just one of their opening three matches and manager Erik ten Hag is already under the same level of pressure as the end of last season.

The likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and other United officals wore glum expressions as they watched the performance unfold.

Here, Mail Sport's CHRIS WHEELER rates the performances of the United players.

Manchester United were well beaten by rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon

Casemiro was taken off at half time after being at fault for the Reds' first two goals on the day

Andre Onana - 5

No chance with any of Liverpool’s goals as United’s midfield and defence capitulated in front of him.

Noussair Mazraoui - 4.5

Got forward to have United’s only two efforts in the first half, but nowhere to be seen when Diaz headed the second.

Matthijs de Ligt - 5

Made a strong start to his full debut but struggled after that and was booked for a lunging foul on Diaz.

Lisandro Martinez - 4

Gave the ball away in dangerous areas time and again. Silly foul on Szoboszlai left him on a yellow for nearly an hour.

Diogo Dalot - 4.5

Difficult for a right-footer playing left-back and almost impossible against Mo Salah. Had a torrid time.

Casemiro - 2

Guilty of giving the ball away for the first and second goals before being hooked at half-time. Should have left this summer.

Casemiro's performances was evidence of why he should have left the club in the summer

Kobbie Mainoo - 4.5

Monstered by Liverpool’s midfield, particularly Gravenberch. Had his pocket picked by Mac Allister for the third goal.

Alejandro Garnacho - 4.5

Started in place of Diallo but couldn’t get into the game and was replaced by the Ivorian.

Bruno Fernandes - 4

Sloppy early passes set the tone for the United skipper who didn’t have any impact on the game at all.

Bruno Fernandes failed to have any impact on the game as United rolled over on Sunday

Marcus Rashford 3.5

Booed by United fans who also jeered when Garnacho was replaced instead of him. It goes from bad to worse.

Joshua Zirkee 4

First start but couldn’t get up to speed and missed two big chances when Rashford woke up late on.

Subs:

Harry Maguire (for De Ligt 69, 6)

Collyer (for Casemiro 46, 6.5)

Amad Diallo (for Garnacho 69, 7)

Chirsitan Eriksen (for Zirkzee 86, N/A)

Manager: Erik ten Hag - 4
