Frank's United audition?
By Harry Bamforth
The question of who would replace Erik ten Hag if he was to leave Manchester United is still a tricky one to answer.
With Thomas Tuchel off the market, it's anyone's guess who they would go for.
One person Ineos could consider, though, is Thomas Frank.
The Brentford boss has worked wonders in west London and after a slight blip in form last year, he has the Bees buzzing again.
United's poor form is not the only reason people think they may struggle today, it's also due to how brilliant Brentford have been.
Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp have both sung Frank's praises in the past, so Ratcliffe wouldn't go far wrong by at least considering him.
If Brentford manage to pull off a huge result today, then he may just put himself in pole position.
Would you want Frank as boss, United fans?
Ten Hag: 'Noise only coming from media'
By Harry Bamforth
Erik ten Hag, Manchester United boss, speaking on Friday:
Noise is only coming from some of you in the media, creating stories and fairy tales, and bringing lies.
Journalists didn’t believe me. I saw the reports. Of course, we are unhappy with the position where we are.
Ultimately, internally it is quiet and composed. We stick to the plan and are very convinced it will be a success.
Ten Hag's ticking time bomb
By Harry Bamforth
It feels like it could go off any time now.
Erik ten Hag's future at Manchester United continues to be shrouded in doubt week after week.
I bet Sir Jim Ratcliffe has had The Clash running through his head over the past few weeks.
While Ten Hag may still be safe in his job at the moment, he is certainly walking a tightrope.
United are winless in their last five games and have had their worst-ever start to a Premier League season after seven matches.
If they fail to win once again today, the speculation will only get worse for the Dutchman.
It's D-Day for him once more.
