Steve McMichael, the legendary Chicago Bears defensive tackle and Hall of Fame inductee, has been readmitted to the hospital. This marks his second hospitalization within six weeks. McMichael's family has requested prayers as he undergoes tests.

McMichael, known affectionately as "Mongo," was diagnosed with ALS in 2021, exacerbating his recent health challenges. In February, he was admitted to the ICU with MRSA and underwent a blood transfusion. The initial diagnosis was pneumonia.

Despite his health battles, McMichael has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024. The ceremony is scheduled for August 3rd in Canton, Ohio.
