The Packers drafted Missouri linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper with the No. 91 overall pick in the 3rd round.
Hopper played three seasons at Florida before transferring to Missouri for his last two seasons. At Missouri, he started 22 games and posted 133 tackles, including 20 for loss, with 5½ sacks. He led the Tigers' defense in 2022 with 14 TFLs, his second straight year in double-digits in that category. He earned second-team All-Southeastern Conference honors last year.
Hopper was a team captain his final year at Missouri but missed the tail end of the season with an ankle injury. He did not work out at the scouting combine.
At Missouri's pro day, Hopper clocked a 4.68-second 40 with a 36-inch vertical jump.
He joins Texas A&M's Edgerrin Cooper in the linebacker competition in defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley's new defense.
