Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, a CNET Editors' Choice award pick, offers hundreds of games you can play on your Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One and PC for $20 a month. A subscription gets you access to a large library of games with new titles added every month -- like the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 -- plus other benefits, like online multiplayer and deals on non-Game Pass titles.

Microsoft recently brought Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 and other titles to Game Pass Ultimate, and the company added these games to the service in July.
This marks the first Call of Duty game to land on Game Pass since Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard in 2023. It also comes after Microsoft announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 would be available on the service upon release on October 25.
In this rebooted first-person shooter, you can continue the story of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as you and a team of special forces members try to track down an ultranationalist terrorist. You can also take on hordes of the undead in the zombies gameplay mode, or challenge your friends in multiplayer mode. With the Carry Forward feature, you can transfer much of your content and weapons progressions from Modern Warfare 2 to this game.
Dungeons of Hinterberg
This dungeon-crawling adventure combines combat, exploration and elements of social games into a charming and colorful package. You play as Luisa, who left her dead-end job to seek adventure in regions surrounding the mountain town of Hinterberg. Wield magic, slay monsters and sample delightful Austrian cuisine, like schnitzel and Eismarillenknödel, which is a type of ice cream dumpling filled with apricots and sounds wholly awesome.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn
The gods have scarred the world, so it's up to you and your fox-like companion to take them all down in this action RPG game. You play as an elite member of a coalition army who uses melee, gunpowder and magical abilities to fight. If you use your abilities with precise timing in rhythmic battles, you can create deadly combos to take down the most enemies.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
A mountain has been covered in defilement, and it's up to you to cleanse the land. This game is a unique Japanese-inspired action strategy game that follows two distinct day and night gameplay cycles. During the day, you purify the villages and prepare yourself for nightfall. Then, once the sun goes down, you must protect the Maiden from enemies known as the Seethe. It's up to you to restore peace to the mountain and its villages.
Games that left Game Pass
Microsoft added those games to the service, it also removed three others. So if you want to finish your campaign or any side quests you'll have to purchase these games separately now.
