Eberechci Eze's £60million release clause has expired, it can be revealed.
That could have been done without Palace able to fight any bids up until Thursday evening, with the release clause in Eze's contract, worth £60m plus £8m in add-ons, now no longer valid.
Any bids to sign Eze this summer may now have to be higher than the fee that would have been required prior to Friday, with Eagles chairman Steve Parish recently bullish on potential player sales.
Already losing Michael Olise, there has been interest in both Joachim Andersen and Marc Guehi from Fulham and Newcastle respectively, leaving Palace at risk of losing a number of key players.

'Nobody has got to the valuation yet,' Parish said in the week of trying to hold onto Guehi. 'If you want a superstar player you need to pay superstar money.
'It's not near the point where we have to make a decision. We love having him and would love to keep him.'
Eze has faced interest from a number of Premier League sides, including City, who have just lost Oscar Bobb for a number of months due to injuries.
City are expected to go into the transfer market this summer to sign a wide player, and are admirers of Eze, though he regularly plays on the left, where Jeremy Doku and Jack Grealish operate, as well as Phil Foden on occasion.
Spurs, meanwhile, have now signed Wilson Odobert from Burnley, perhaps lessening thier chances of going in for Eze.
