What just happened? Samsung has announced a new mid-range smartphone along with two Android tablets featuring Galaxy AI capabilities. The Galaxy S24 FE is Samsung's latest Fan Edition model, designed to deliver flagship-level features at a more affordable price. It boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and is powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset.

The device comes equipped with 8GB of RAM and offers storage options of either 128GB or 256GB.

The S24 FE features a triple rear-camera setup, led by a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an f/1.8 aperture, and an 84-degree field of view. The other two cameras include a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree FoV and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and a 32-degree field of view. The device is powered by a 4,700 mAh battery and runs Android 14 out of the box.

Samsung's latest includes many of the Galaxy AI features found in the flagship S24 series, such as Circle to Search, Interpreter, Live Translate, Composer, and Note Assist. Its AI-powered photography capabilities include Photo Assist, Nightography, Generative Edit, Portrait Studio, and Edit Suggestions, among others.

The Galaxy S24 FE starts at $649.99 for the 128GB model.

Both new tablets are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC and run Android 14, but that's where most of the similarities end. The Plus model features a 12.4-inch, 2,800 x 1,752 120Hz AMOLED display, while the Ultra sports a larger 14.6-inch, 2,960 x 1,848 120Hz AMOLED panel. Both models come with 12GB of RAM, though the Ultra also offers a 16GB variant. Storage options for the Plus include 256GB and 512GB, while the Ultra adds a 1TB option.

Both feature a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor on the back. For selfies, the Plus model has a single 12MP front camera, while the Ultra boasts dual 12MP cameras. The Plus is equipped with a 10,090mAh battery, while the Ultra has a slightly larger 11,200mAh battery – both supporting 45W fast charging.

Pricing starts at $999.99 for the Tab S10+ and $1,199.99 for the Tab S10 Ultra.
