Samsung Developer's Conference 2024: Everything Revealed in 9 Minutes
Hello, welcome to SCC 2024. Now, I'm happy to share that today. We have a sneak peek into what we are preparing for the upcoming One U seven launch. We are exploring a brand new UX design. One U seven will bring a fresh new look to the entire interface. We approach this new design with the three goals in mind. The first one is simplicity with purpose. One year seven is smart, it understand what you are trying to do and minimize complexity. We have streamlined the design making it cleaner and more consistent. Second, we want to make an impactful impression that is signature to Galaxy. We've highlighted our innovations with a bold, iconic look that is uniquely one U I and finally, one U seven wants our users to feel comfortable by infusing a more emotional quality to our design. We enhance motion and designed one ye's own blur system to elevate users emotional satisfaction and create an easier journey. One cool example is a new home screen grid. It's slicker and easier to use giving you a neat home screen no matter which Galaxy devices you are using. But at the same time, you can still customize everything to your preferences with good luck, which allows completely different level of customization just for you. So when this all happening within this year, you'll be able to preview one U seven new look and get a sneak peek of its improvement with one U I seven beta and the official version of Ona seven with all of game changing A I features will be released next year with the next Galaxy S series. Our bespoke A I appliances were created not just to make your home more intelligent, but to actually answer the needs. We were hearing from consumers a great way to see this in action is on the family hub. When seeing how real families interacted with the family hub, we were surprised and excited to learn that it was often most helpful to use these features when they were away from home with A I vision inside when you're at the grocery store and forget whether you have vegetables at home. You can check your phone and know in an instant and know if they've expired or say you forgot to plan meals for the week. Those same features can see what's in your fridge, recommend recipes and create shopping lists for you, whether you're at home or on the go. We've equipped our flagship washing machines, dryers and ovens with seven inch screens, which means it's easier to access A I powered information like product status maintenance needs and energy consumption. Right on the device. Take our Bespoke A I anyplace induction. You can search for recipes and follow along step by step right on the hop screen or our bespoke A I laundry combo shows you how far you are in each wash and dry cycle and can even pick up a phone call. For instance, if you have a movie on when you are starting to get a bit tired, just a sec, turn down the volume now and turn off the TV in an hour. And Bixby will handle what commands Bixby can also improve how you search for content if you're thinking of a movie and you just cannot remember the name, but you know the actor and the general plot, you can just say what you know, like show me musical movie about aspiring artists in Los Angeles and Bixby. We sold out the rest or if you feel your TV, settings are doing something strange, but you don't know how to fix it. Try asking Bixby, how do I check if everything is fine with my device? And Bixby will tell you what to do. Your TV can now automatically wake up when you walk by to show all your daily information like the weather device status. And more for this. I'm excited to introduce a new daily board SDK specifically for our partners. This will give you more ways to feature your content right on the daily board and reach more users. Our first partner to use daily board is next door. The essential neighborhood network that connects citizens with local businesses services and each other. By integrating their local content, users can easily access valuable time and information about their communities. Tyson offers through own device A I powered by Samsung TV, S and P chips to make your smart TV. Even smarter for our developers, Tyson A I services can be developed and distributed in pipeline units through Tyson machine learning A PS for influence training and service. Also starting from 1009 new A PS are being introduced to support independent deployment update and burden management for A I model packages. Tyson also offers a range of vision and language A isdks and various tools that can be conveniently used within apps home insight can help you celebrate a special occasion, say it's your daughter's birthday. It will know to fill your home with cheerful music and change the lighting for fun and festive party vibe with youtube music. See. So now if you walk by your jackpot or sit down on the couch to watch TV, the remote control prompt will automatically appear on your phone. So you don't even need to open an app. We've also made controlling your smart home easier with updates to map you too. Appliances like TV S air conditioners and robot vacuum cleaners can be controlled without leaving map view and you can turn off or adjust lights and outlets with just a click and as you said earlier, not just dogs but cats too have been added to map view. This will give pet owners more insight into how your homes routines and temperature impact your furry friends too. These innovations are fun but they become game changers when the experience is consistent across all of your devices. I'm happy to share that. The smart things experience now includes all Galaxy devices and A I home appliances. So if you have a Galaxy Ted S 10, you can create a widget for map view and home insight and it becomes your personal A I dashboard family care. It helps families balance caregiving with the demands of every day while leveraging smarter devices to make life easier too. For example, chosen caregivers can now opt in to receive a notification when their loved one opens their fridge to give them peace of mind that they are eating and active for the day. And family care provides reminders on phones or TV S to help loved ones stay on schedule for medicines, allowing caretakers to review records to ensure they are being taken as prescribed. I'm very excited to share that we will be expanding Samsung account, pas keys on mobile and web browsers which will include browser based task key logins through mobile QR code scanning.
