Save up to $700 on Tempur-Pedic’s Early Labor Day Sale

As Labor Day approaches, your next chance to save money is here. From computers to fitness equipment to Amazon deals, you’ll find many great deals going on for the holiday. It’s also your next chance to buy your next bed for less, thanks to discounts from big brands like Tempur-Pedic.

Right now, through Sept. 10, you can get up to $700 off your next Tempur-Pedic mattress and base set. If you’re a fan of the dense and slow-moving Tempur-Pedic memory foam that perfectly cradles your curves, you won’t want to miss this sale, especially if you’re a hot sleeper looking for a cooling mattress like the LuxeBreeze or ProBreeze. Trust me, no one does traditional memory foam quite like Tempur-Pedic.

Select Tempur-Pedic mattresses are on sale for Labor Day, and the discount varies by mattress and base. To help you understand what this sale could mean for your wallet, I poked around on the Tempur-Pedic website to fully understand what’s on sale for Labor Day. As expected, the more expensive Luxe beds are discounted more because they cost more. But where it gets interesting is pairing the bed with a base.

Below, I’ll break down the sale and the new cost of a queen-size bed.

Compare mattresses by sale price

MattressSaleSale Price
Adapt$200 off$1,999
ProAdapt$200 off$3,199
LuxeAdapt$500 off$3,799
LuxeBreeze$500 off$5,099
ProBreeze$500 off$4,099
ActiveBreeze and ProSmart Air Base$700 off$9,298

Tempur-Pedic Labor Day adjustable base sale

Compare adjustable bases by sale price

BaseSaleSale Price
Ergo Power Base$100 off$1,499
Ergo Smart Base$200 off$1,799
Ergo ProSmart Base$200 off$2,299

You’ll get the biggest discount if you buy a base with your bed since Tempur-Pedic offers an additional $300 instant gift credit on top of the sale. For instance, if you’re interested in a medium Tempur-Adapt mattress ($1,999), and you want to pair it with the Tempur-Ergo power base ($1,499). You get a $300 instant credit on top of the discounts to get the $700 off.

It’s a good deal, though I’m not sure the $300 credit would sway the average person to spend that much more for the base. If you’re not interested in an adjustable base, you can still buy a mattress at the listed discounts; you’ll just miss out on that $300 gift credit.

That said, adjustable bases are favored by many because they can help reduce snoring, combat back pain and improve circulation. There’s a lot to be said about having control over your sleeping position. Adjustable bases are also a game changer for people with mobility issues who have difficulty getting in and out of bed. If you want a new Tempur-Pedic bed and base, Labor Day is a good time to buy.
