Children's tablets are a great way for kids to learn through gaming, find age-appropriate entertainment and do homework. They're often built with sturdy construction and parental controls that are designed to make parents feel at ease with their investment. Right now, you can find the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus starting at $230, a full $40 off its regular asking price. Amazon deals like this one tend to be volatile, so this deal can change without notice.

This tablet has an 11-inch screen with a maximum display resolution of 1,920 by 1,200 pixels. It can charge quickly and last a long time thanks to its 7,040mAh battery. However, it requires a 15-watt charger, which is not included, so you'll have to purchase that separately if you don't already have one. The A9 Plus also supports Wi-Fi 7, runs on Android and includes AI features.

This model is equipped with 64GB of storage that you can increase to up to 128GB if you add a microSD card to the allotted slot, but that is sold separately. That added storage will give your child a lot of space to store games, kid-friendly content and educational resources, so it might be worth the investment.

Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money.

Samsung designed this model with a puffy, kid-proof cover. If red isn't your color, you can score the same tablet in yellow for the same price. Either way, your purchase comes with stickers for personalized decoration as well as a Crayo-Pen stylus for doodling, note-taking and creative pursuits.
