Keeping your home safe and secure is a priority for all of us. One way you can keep an eye on your space even when you're away or get a little extra peace of mind while you're sleeping is to invest in security cameras that can alert you when people arrive at your property. Ring is a standout for affordable and reliable security cameras to meet various needs, and while the brand isn't the absolute cheapest on the market, now's the time to get your hands on great Ring cameras for less.

Woot has slashed the price of a Ring Spotlight Cam Plus to a new low of just $90 today. That's a 47% discount on one of our favorite home security cameras with lights, saving you $80 on the retail price. You can also opt for the Pro model, which Woot has marked down to just $130 -- a $100 savings off the retail price and the lowest price we've seen. These deals won't last long, though so be quick if you're interested.

We like the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus as it can be set up in all kinds of spaces where other light sources might be lacking, such as a porch, entryway or yard, thanks to its compact design and bright LED panels. That's especially true of the battery-powered variant which doesn't require hardwiring and Ring's quick-release battery design makes it easy to recharge it without disturbing the spotlight angle.

As well as a spotlight, this camera offers a 1080p HD video stream and has highly customizable motion detection which helps conserve battery life. There's two-way audio for speaking to guests or delivery drivers via the Ring app, and voice control is also available via Alexa devices.

The Pro model offers slightly more clarity, particularly in low light, and it also offers better noise canceling than the Plus model. Other features that the Pro features include Bird's Eye View and Pre-Roll, as well as its support for dual-band 5GHz. If you want access to a different vantage point and six extra seconds of video, it may be worth the added cost. But we're fans of the Plus for the average user, as it offers plenty of great features, too.

Just keep in mind that you'll want to invest in a Ring Protect plan to access all of the features these cameras can offer, including recording videos and saving content for up to 180 days -- and that subscription is sold separately.

If you're still not convinced about this pricing, make sure to read up on the best home security systems you can get right now, including the likes of Ring, Abode, Comcast, SimpliSafe and more. We're also gathering the best smart home deals so you can expand your setup for less.
