Spurs troll die-hard Man United fan Littler after Old Trafford win

Defeat piles even greater pressure on United boss Ten Hag who finds his future job prospects at the club already being debated just six matches into the new season.

Meanwhile, sporting superstar Littler, who became Premier League darts champion for the first time in May, has found himself in the limelight after Spurs spotted his recent social media activity.

Tottenham thrashed Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday in a dismal defeat for the hosts

The 17-year-old would have been understandably disheartened after United's weekend defeat and was on the receiving end of a hilarious online interaction from Spurs after the defeat.

Spurs revealed in a viral post on Monday that Littler has now began following him on Instagram and toyed with the youngster as they suggested he should swap allegiances.

Tagging Littler in their post, Tottenham stated: 'Ooop (eyes emoji_ You finally seen the light @LukeTheNuke180?'.

The club also accompanied the post alongside an image of stars James Maddison and Son Heung-min doing their iconic darts throwing celebration.

Littler is yet to reply to the public calling out by Spurs on a day that has seen United fans deal with continued speculation over Ten Hag's position at the club.

Ironically, Littler and Maddison share a good friendship with the pair previously spending time together as the Tottenham playmaker went through injury rehabilitation.

Littler joined Maddison in his box last year on New Years Eve as Spurs hosted Bournemouth, while the midfielder has also watched the darts star compete on the world stage.
