Get ready for laughs, romance and a whole load of action because The Fall Guy is coming to streaming. The big-screen adaptation of the hit '80s TV show premieres on Peacock on Friday, Aug. 30.
Ryan Gosling stars in The Fall Guy as Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who hangs up his hat after suffering an on-set injury. The disappearance of Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a movie star who stars in a movie directed by Jody (Emily Blunt) -- Colt's ex-girlfriend -- brings the stunt man out of retirement to help solve the mystery. As the situation unfolds, Colt finds himself pushed to the edge of a fall far more dangerous than any stunt.
Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu and Winston Duke also star.
An extended version of the movie will be available to stream, giving viewers an additional 20 minutes of previously unseen footage -- adding up to a 146-minute runtime. According to NBCUniversal, audiences should expect "more action, stunts, romance and more sexy bacon!"

Universal Pictures' and 87North's The Fall Guy will exclusively stream on Peacock beginning Friday, Aug. 30. Viewers in the US can start watching the movie as early as 3 a.m. PT (6 a.m. ET).
Peacock is raising prices. The ad-supported Peacock Premium tier will cost $8 a month, instead of the previous $6 rate. The mostly ad-free Premium Plus plan will cost $14 a month, which is also a $2 increase. Annual plans are going to get more expensive, as well. The higher prices kicked in for new subscribers on July 18 and will increase for existing subscribers beginning on Aug. 17.
