The Walmart Deals Event, which went live today, offers great prices on thousands of household items that are available this week only. Since Walmart is typically my go-to for household items, getting the items I need at lower prices is music to my ears – particularly at a time when every penny counts. Walmart+ members have access now, and the deals become available to all shoppers starting on Tuesday at 12 p.m. ET. 

If you have Walmart+ membership, which costs $12.95 per month, there's a good chance the prices you'll be able to get can more than offset the membership cost. Other Walmart+ membership benefits include unlimited free delivery on orders over $35 from a local store, gas discounts of up to 10 cents per gallon at over 13,000 stations nationwide, mobile scan-and-go while shopping in-store to speed up checkout and a Paramount+ subscription (Normally $7.99 per month). Also, for returns in certain locations, Walmart will pick your return up from your home for you.
