During the second day of Evo Japan 2024, all Twitch streams were abruptly banned without notice.

Viewers were informed that the channel was unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, but the specific violation was not disclosed.

Some speculated that the ban was due to inadequate moderation in the Twitch chat.

Fortunately, viewers could switch to Evo Japan 2024's YouTube live streams to witness the conclusion of the Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising event.

StreamerBans reported that the ban on the EVOJapan01 account lasted for 41 minutes and was the first since they began tracking the account in 2019.

Evo Japan's official Twitter account later released a statement in Japanese, attributed to a "login issue" rather than a stream issue. More official information was promised later.

The issue was resolved, and Evo Japan resumed streaming on Twitch. It is unlikely to recur on the third day of the event.
