Terique Owens, the son of former 49ers star wide receiver Terrell Owens, is signing with San Francisco as an undrafted free agent, according to multiple reports.

Boston Herald reporter Andrew Callahan was the first to report that the younger Owens will sign with the 49ers.

Terique Owens was one of four sons of famous 49ers who could have ended up having their names called during the NFL Draft.

Terique Owens was born in Fremont while his dad Terrell played in San Francisco. Terique went to Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland before going to the college ranks, finishing the final three seasons of his career at Missouri State. He didn’t have a standout career in college, with the vast majority of his production coming in 2023, when he caught 28 passes for 528 yards and four touchdowns.
