Vincent Kompany swears at Burnley star FIFTEEN TIMES in furious rant

Vincent Kompany gained a reputation for playing attacking football during his two years as Burnley manager but footage from a behind-the-scenes documentary has shown that he was also not averse to dishing out the hairdryer treatment.

Each of Kompany's two seasons in charge at Turf Moor were heavily filmed, with footage later used to make the Sky documentary 'Mission to Burnley'.

Kompany's first season in charge was an overwhelming success and it ended with the Clarets winning the EFL Championship with 101 points.

However, Burnley had a much tougher time following their promotion and were eventually relegated last season after winning just five of their 38 Premier League games under Kompany, who left Lancashire in May to become the new Bayern Munich boss.

Episode three from season two of 'Mission to Burnley' aired last week and it included a very heated row between Kompany and one of his players.

An 89-second clip from the episode has since gone viral via social media. The clip begins with Kompany telling the audience: 'You can't say "I want confidence". You can't say "I want results". You have to live in a certain way to achieve results.

'Then it's about controlling. Controlling your emotions is being on that fine limit of being passionate and driven but never reckless. People who behave in that way become winners.'

Footage then cuts to Kompany aggressively confronting Johann Berg Gudmundsson during a training session last season. Kompany is heard swearing at Gudmundsson 15 times in less than one minute.

'Joey, don't f***ing test me,' shouts Kompany. 'Do not f***ing test me. Enough of the f***ing moaning. Enough of the f***ing moaning. Play f***ing football. You've got to f***ing work for everything. F***ing play!

'How many times do I have to tell you? Stop f***ing moaning.'

Gudmundsson then walks away from Kompany, but the former Man City defender follows him and continues verbally attacking him. 'What? Have you got something you want to communicate to the team? You want to communicate something, you big boy? You're a big boy, you want to talk?'

Kompany and Gudmundsson are then face to face. Gudmundsson tells his boss: 'I just said "can we finish that attack?".

But a furious Kompany hits back: 'No, you're moaning about everything!' Gudmundsson asks: 'What have I moaned about today?'

Kompany tells him: 'Body language is f***ing s*** and I'm not accepting it. Play! F***ing hell man.'

The row appears to be over after the two men walk away from each other, but Kompany then charges back towards Gudmundsson, yelling: 'It's f***ing life or death. F***ing play!'

Kompany eventually stops shouting at Gudmundsson and instead begins muttering to himself: F***ing... I've had a f***ing enough of this!'

After the clip went viral via social media, many fans were critical of Kompany's behaviour towards his player.

One fan tweeted: 'A b***ocking I have no issue with. However, to belittle and insult someone, especially in front of everyone else? Awful.'

Another fan accused Kompany of 'classic bully behaviour', while a third wrote: 'Heard from multiple people that Kompany created a toxic environment in the club.'

Other comments suggested that Kompany will have to change his ways if he is to succeed at Bayern.

'He's going to struggle with the big personalities at Bayern isn't he,' read one.

Another fan wrote: 'I love Vinny but if he does this it Bayern it ain't gonna work lol'.

A third predicted: 'I give him 6 months before the likes of Kimmich, Muller & Neuer have him out the door.' 

Bayern have so far enjoyed an unbeaten pre-season under Kompany, including two friendly wins over Tottenham Hotspur and a 14-1 victory against Rottach Egern.

Kompany's first competitive game in charge will be a German Cup clash with SSV Ulm 1846 on Friday.
