Watch cameras catch football fan appearing to put powder up his nose

A Bayern Munich supporter was caught on camera appearing to put a mystery powder up his nose during his side's clash with Aston Villa on Wednesday night.

The man, seen on TNT Sports' broadcast coverage, was amongst the thousands of travelling Bayern supporters for their match at Villa Park in the Champions League.

During the first-half of the European tie, the man was seen chanting alongside another supporter, while holding a packet in his hand.

He then stops chanting and pours the contents onto his knuckle before reaching down and appearing to sniff it.

The camera then swiftly cut back to the match, where the score was still 0-0, before anymore was shown.

The match was at a stalemate in the first-half, with Villa having a Pau Torres goal disallowed for a narrow offside call.

Jacob Ramsey had strayed just beyond the defensive line before playing a part in the build-up to the goal, which sent the Villa Park into a frenzy before it was overturned.

This is Villa's first appearance in the competition since it was rebranded the Champions League, and their first all told since 1983.

The 1982 European Cup winner died at the age of 63 in September after injuring his head from a fall.

Shaw made 213 appearances for his boyhood side and scored 79 goals. He is regarded as one of the best forwards in the club's 150-year history.

And on Wednesday night, ahead of a repeat of the final 42 years ago, Villa paid tribute to the iconic player by including his name on the teamsheet in the match programme.

Shaw is listed at the bottom of the list of squad members and has a symbol representing the Champions League trophy next to his name, where others have their numbers.
