West Ham add Kieran Trippier to their shortlist of right-back options

The 33-year-old arrived at Newcastle back in 2022 and his contract with the Magpies is set to exppire next year. 

Trippier has also endured a difficult season, with the former Tottenham and Burnley defender having struggled for form during the 2023-24 campaign. 

The England international, who also featured for the Three Lions at Euro 2024, went on to make 39 appearances for Newcastle last season, sustaining a calf injury that left him out of the side during the latter part of the campaign.

West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui appears to be keen on acquiring a new full-back, with the London club having stepped up their attempts to sign Wan-Bissaka.

The Man United defender is also in the last year of his contract at Old Trafford and has been linked with several clubs, including West Ham.  

The red Devils want around £18million for the right back and if Wan-Bissaka leaves the cluib, United were set to hold further negotiations with Noussair Mazraoui.
