What Darwin Nunez needs to do to turn his Liverpool season around

Nunez's situation was examined on Mail Sport's It's All Kicking Off! podcast with co-hosts Ian Ladyman and Chris Sutton discussing what the forward needs to turn his season around.

Sutton reflected on his own experience of struggling at Chelsea following a big money move, admitting a support network in the dressing room is useful.

He stressed that Nunez requires more game time to get into a rhythm, something that should happen with Liverpool facing a run of matches.

The former Premier League striker believes Nunez 'needs to shine' during those matches if he is to become a key part of Slot's plans at Liverpool.

Ladyman suggested Nunez's could also look to Nicolas Jackson for inspiration with the forward having turned around his Chelsea career, as the two clubs prepare to meet this weekend.
