What to expect at Celosphere 24: Join theCUBE Oct. 23-24

As the generative artificial intelligence paradigm takes shape, companies are focusing on finding value areas in realms such as process optimization, automation and enhanced service delivery. Efficiency translates to improved business performance, and organizations turn to software-as-a-service platforms, such as Celonis SE, for process intelligence.

How is the company evolving to serve new process intelligence use cases?

“You probably have heard all the buzz about gen AI and agentic technology but have not heard that if you can’t map your processes before you build the agents, you are potentially putting the cart before the horse,” said Rob Strechay, managing director and lead analyst at theCUBE Research. “At Celonis’ Celosphere, I expect details that connect the reality of a company’s processes with gen AI for companies to realize return-on-AI-investment finally. This is critical for organizations, as we see in the data from our partner ETR.ai survey, which states 56% of organizations expect to achieve ROI in less than a year.”

AI is the tool of the moment, and Celonis aims to harness it to optimize process mining and corporate workforces at scale. Join theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, for our exclusive coverage of Celosphere 24, from Oct. 23 and 24, as our analysts engage with experts and business leaders on market news from Celonis, process intelligence thought leadership and the tangible digital transformation use cases the company is driving. Process intelligence in the AI era

Celonis’ recent “Process Optimization Report” surveyed more than 1,200 global business leaders and showed an overwhelming enterprise willingness for AI adoption. At the same time, 72% of business leaders revealed concerns that process shortcomings could present a barrier to AI success. Some of these process shortcomings include siloed data resources, systems that don’t play well together and departments that lack synergy.

“With the recent advancements to our process intelligence platform, we are enabling our customers to overcome these barriers and bring their teams together around a common language for understanding how their processes run end-to-end and how to improve them, fast,” said Alex Rinke, co-founder and co-chief executive officer of Celonis, in a recent statement.

Agentic AI will be key to unifying these disparate organizational silos, and it’s an area in which Celonis is heavily invested. It will integrate legacy applications and data, via two-way connector systems, to work with today’s data modalities. Over time, these systems will learn to connect the best of old and new, propagating a paradigm where business processes can be refined more efficiently.

“We envision that happening with one or more agents observing the human process, learning over time and ultimately interacting with these connectors that will interrogate or transact with these backend systems,” said Dave Vellante, chief analyst at theCUBE Research, in a recent Breaking Analysis segment. “But over time, you’ll have agents that are more adaptable and they’ll be able to talk to and call on each other. Importantly, all the work currently getting done with existing applications will be critical building blocks that agents evolve.”

In the meantime, Celonis has been hard at work bring several process intelligence features and AI enhancements to its platform. On the PI Graph side, capabilities such as Oracle EBS transformations, fast data model search and intuitive object selections are now available. Within Process Copilots, Celonis has enabled faster insights and improved the overall user experience. Finally, several AI enhancements, such as the Planning Parameter Optimization App, have been added.
