We might be in the middle of the dog days of summer, but thanks to the great new shows and movies on streaming services like Netflix, Max and Peacock, there's still plenty to get excited about.

It's been over two years since season 3 of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy came out and this week, the fourth and final season drops. New episodes arrive on Aug. 8. On Hulu, Dance Moms: A New Era promises, you know, a new era of Dance Moms. New dancers, a new coach and new meddling moms abound when the show premieres Aug. 7.

A new season of the high finance drama Industry premieres Sunday, Aug. 11 on HBO and Max, bringing some new faces, including Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington, to the trading floor.

On Apple TV Plus, check out Damon and Affleck -- Matt Damon and Casey Affleck, that is -- in their new film The Instigators, which was co-written by Affleck. You and the kids can also tune into Yo Gabba Gabbaland! on Apple TV Plus, a reboot of the music-filled kids' series. And on Peacock, you can still catch all of their Olympics coverage right up until the closing ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 11, or, if you want something that combines sports and comedy, check out the platform's newest sitcom, Mr. Throwback, which co-stars NBA star Stephen Curry and Adam Pally.
