Real Madrid stars have playfully teased their new teammate Endrick after the Brazilian wonderkid scored his first goal for Los Blancos.
The 18-year-old player received a warm welcome at Santiago Bernabeu for his debut against Real Valladolid, where he scored in a 3-0 victory off the bench.
However, his debut game and goal prompted several team-mates to flood his Instagram and jokingly refer him as 'Bobby'.
The playful support comes after Endrick surprised the football world by revealing that England World Cup winner and Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton is one of his idols during an interview.
Although Sir Bobby's talents were undeniable, the youngster stunned fans by picking a player who had retired from football in 1973 - 33 years before Endrick was born.
Endrickenjoyed a dream debut for Real Madrid scoring his first goal against Real Valladolid
Previously, the Brazil international revealed he likes to select him in his all-time team on EA Sports FC 24, and mentioned his name after the friendly game against England.
'Bobby Charlton is an idol here,' said the youngster. 'Playing in the stadium where Bobby played, scoring a goal on the date Ronaldo made his debut, it is a landmark date.'
He had another dream night, scoring a goal at the Santiago Bernabeu just ten minutes after replacing Kylian Mbappe.
After only a month since joining the team, the player has already won the UEFA Super Cup trophy, his first title in the white shirt.
His fellow teammate Jude Bellingham was the first Madrid star to decide to support him in such a hilarious way, commenting on the player's Instagram post with 'Vamos Bobby!!!' accompanied by a white heart emoji.
Fans and other teammates were also quick to adopt his new nickname, naming the player 'Bobby Jnr'.
However, other football supporters criticised the player for choosing his current teammate Jude Bellingham over Neymar in another interview with Spanish YouTuber Delantero09, leading to laughing emojis from Barcelona's Raphinha and former Chelsea centre back Thiago Silva.
Los Blancos had to wait for the attacker's 18th birthday as FIFA rules prevent players under the age of 18 from being transferred abroad - though this doesn't apply to players transferring between countries within the EU.
The youngster is currently preparing to face his next opponent, Las Palmas, in an away LaLiga game on Thursday.
