Liverpool have enjoyed a remarkable start to life under new boss Arne Slot with the Dutchman overseeing 11 wins from his opening 12 matches in charge in all competitions.
The stunning start has taken Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table, with Slot’s side a point clear of defending champions Man City and four ahead of Arsenal.
Liverpool travel to Arsenal on Sunday in the headline match of the Premier League weekend, amid growing suggestions they can challenge for the title this season.
The Reds start was discussed by Mail Sport's Dominic King with Chris Sutton and Mike Keegan on the latest episode of Mail Sport's It's All Kicking Off! podcast.
King suggested that despite the start being 'absolutely extraordinary', Liverpool are still adjusting to change in approach from Jurgen Klopp to Slot and face a 'hugely challenging' run of fixtures which will test their credentials.
‘Liverpool are just in the early stages of a new manager's regime,’ King said. ‘The start's been incredible, the signs are encouraging, but I don't think they'll win the league this season. That's just my honest view.
‘If you're realistic about it, understand that there's young players and they're still adjusting to things. It's going to take time.’
